Cameron Archer (Aston Villa – Southampton)

Southampton announced Cameron Archer's signing from Aston Villa on a four-year deal. The 22-year old attacker becomes the 14th signing for Russell Martin's Southampton.

Archer graduated from Aston Villa academy, where he scored a hat-trick in his first senior start in an EFL Cup tie in 2021. He enjoyed successful loan spells in the Championship with Preston and Middlesbrough before departing to Sheffield United, where he tasted regular Premier League football.

He returned to Villa in June, featuring in the preseason, but he now joins the Saints on a permanent transfer.

Sam Szmodics (Blackburn – Ipswich)

Ipswich have completed the transfer of Sam Szmodics from Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee. The 28-year-old has been a scoring machine in the Championship, netting 33 times in all competitions for Blackburn last season.

The tally won him a Championship Golden Boot and a place in the Team of the Season. He began his career at Colchester United, where he scored 38 goals and assisted 16 times before moving to Bristol City in 2019. He soon moved to Peterborough on loan before making it permanent in 2020.

After a successful time at Peterborough, he signed for Blackburn in 2022, where he made over 50 goal contributions in two seasons.

Wilson Odobert (Burnley – Tottenham)

Tottenham announced the arrival of Wilson Odobert from Burnley. The 19-year-old winger has signed a permanent contract with Spurs until 2029.

The French international started his career at the Academy of Paris Saint-Germain before moving to Troyes in 2022. He scored four goals in 33 appearances, earning his move to the English-top flight with Burnley. He made 34 appearances in all competitions with the Clarets, becoming the club's youngest goal scorer in October, 2023, with a goal against Chelsea.

Brajan Gruda (Mainz – Brighton)

Brighton completed the signing of Brajan Gruda from German club Mainz 05. The 20-year old attacking midfielder has agreed to a contract until June 2028.

The 20-year old broke through at Mainz last season, where he played 28 games in the Bundesliga scoring four goals and assisting three. He played his youth football for his home town club FC Speyer before joining FC Karlsruher in 2015 where he spent three seasons in their academy before his move to Mainz in 2018.

Matthijs de Ligt (Bayern – Man United)

Manchester United completed the signing of Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich. The 25–year–old defender agreed to a contract until June 2029, with the option to extend it for a year.

The Netherlands international is a serial winner having won the league title in three countries with Ajax, Juventus, and Bayern Munich. He has made 324 club appearances and has 45 international caps.

Noussair Mazraoui (Bayern – Man United)

Man United has signed another defender from Byen Munich this summer in Noussair Mazraoui. The 26-year old has signed a contract until June 2028, with the option to extend for a year.

The Morocco international has won four league titles, three with Ajax and one at Bayern Munich. He has also made 28 caps for his national team and was a key part of the team that reached the 2022 FIFA World Cup semi-final.
